Hinger Private Collection Now Available
A rare opportunity to own memorabilia and personal instruments collected and played by Fred D Hinger, famous percussionist/timpanist. This collection also includes unique instruments and protoypes developed for the Hinger Touch Tone Corporation.
Terrific vintage Spring Cymbal Holder as shown in the attached 1928 Leedy catalog. All of the major drum makers included these spring cymbal holders in their catalogs. They were a common part of a drummer's outfit and allow the cymbal to vibrate and ring freely when it is struck. This version has a spring mount with its original gold paint which is will make a nice addition to an outfit with art gold hardware. The original hoop mount and thumb screws are in place and works perfectly allowing the cymbal holder to be adjusted vertically or horizontally. The patina of the mount hardware is a nice match to the gold plated spring. Complete with washers and felts, this is a cool trap/cymbal holder for any period outfit.
